Winner of the 2nd LBR Trophy Competition!
Sack-O- Lanterns Galore!!
Good evening to all you little ghosts on this bewitching evening, this is a night that was originally created for a witche’s brew of sackpeople to dress up as ghosts, spacemen, zombies, mummies, creatures, vampires, werewolves, pumpkins and even their favorite superheroes. We take this mischievous night to announce the winner of the second LBR Platinum Trophy. Our trick or treat bag was filled with a fist full of levels this month… close to a sugar high! I must admit that all of them were great and a close final decision was held between several levels. To honor them, I hearted all the levels because each one brought something different to the cauldron, making our reviewing process a ghoulish delight. They are all worth playing.
Finally, the lucky level that was selected as our winner is:
“Sackleton’s Castle” by Sanne-NL
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You won the second LBR Platinum Trophy
Overview:
This level really retains the Halloween spirit. Its funky/mischievous style makes the level feel like a true Media Molecule original. You are introduced in the outskirts of a castle and you find a way in. Without knowing who the castle belongs to, you venture into it like any other normal Sackboy would naturally do. Environmental details were not overseen with a nice array of lights and decorations that ranged between objects and hazards. All of them suited the level perfectly and some of them are utilized as puzzles. The sound effects and music tracks are greatly mixed to make the level even more vivid. The author makes the simplest of things have their hint of craftiness. Thus making the level stand out from others. A thrilling train ride makes you sit on the edge of your seat while there is also a foot race for those that prefer to maintain their knitted feet to the ground. Once you feel like the owner of the castle, the real proprietor makes his presence felt while on his thrown of tyranny. This level induced so much inspiration so that our sackboys were dressed in diverse costumes.
